Well we made it to
Windsor. Didn't think it would happen but everything worked out in the end. Phew.
It was a weekend of adapting fast and overcoming obstacles. Running out of electricity on the first day. Cooking on gas with wind up lanterns. Our lovely neighbours helped us with electricity to charge phones and laptops.
The stall was a good size, with a storytelling area, craft table and books and puppets stall.
Children created eco crowns, pirate hats and magic swords, with recycled card and listened to stories, spun from far and wide.
Our youngest son Max had fallen asleep in the storytelling chair and woke up right in the middle of a pirate story.
We also bought a new 5m Bell Tent from
http://www.belltent.co.uk/ and I am so excited about filling it with light, carpets, Indian cushions, bunting and fun.
Very grateful to be able to look forward to the Summer festival season in this.
